Lady Guitar

This one has a great story, but it’s a great lady, so of course it would. I think the shape of a woman is beautiful and so is the shape of a guitar. As I started painting the guitar, I could see the shape of the lady starting to appear. Many guitars have stickers from places they have played, so I adhered paper to it and varnish.

I donated this piece to a fundraiser at Unity Church in Springfield, MO. It was one of the most popular, most bid on pieces they had. The proud owner is a really good friend of mine. Lady Guitar is hanging on the wall in his bedroom. 🙂
